Aloe as a Shampoo

Aloe gel can make a good sulfate-free natural shampoo. Since the gel is hydrating, it will leave the hair looking healthy and moisturized. To make the shampoo, you will need vitamin E oil, 1 cup Aloe gel, glycerin soap base 1/3 a cup, filtered water 300ml and few drops of jojoba oil. Afterward, add soap base and water in a cooking pot and as the soap melts into water, reduce the flame. Consequently, blend Aloe gel, vitamin E oil and jojoba oil and mix them well with the soap base.

Gel as a Conditioner

Furthermore, since Aloe Vera gel is rich in amino acids, it is ready to use as a conditioner. Apply the gel to damp hair, starting with the scalp to the hair ends and then wrap the hair with a silk hair cap. Let the product settle for 30 minutes before rinsing.

Aloe Vera gel can define and moisturize curls. To use the gel as a curl definer, apply a small amount of the gel after washing and conditioning before you apply any other styler.

Aloe Vera is a good natural hair detangler. The ingredient imparts detangling and conditioning by forming a polymer film on the surface of the hair; hence, smoothing the cuticle. To use it for detangling hair, simply combine 1 teaspoon Aloe gel, 1 drop of glycerin, 2 drops of essential oil like jojoba, 12 drops of grapefruit seed extract and 8 oz. Afterward, distill water in a spray bottle, section your hair and apply the mixture as you detangle.
