Sonia Mugabo is an ambitious, creative, and proactive young fashion designer who was born in Rwanda. After completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree at Buena Vista University, majoring in Visual Communication and Graphic Design, she returned to her native Rwanda to make a name for herself as an entrepreneur. She then established Sonia Mugabo, a Rwandan-based fashion company. Not only does the company employ local artisan talent to make high-quality clothing that captures the essence of global trends, but also, it creates designs that are purely African
For sure, Sonia has accumulated a wealth of experience in branding, communication, fashion, graphic design, public relations and social media. Furthermore, she has participated in international tradeshows and has featured in several major publications such as BBC, Der Spiegel, Elle France and the Guardian.
