What is your favorite part or experience of being a fashion designer?

I always enjoy watching the reaction of my clients once they put on their outfits.

Who or what inspires your designs?

I draw my inspiration from daily engagements and experiences, especially while interacting with clients, designers and other players in the industry.

What skills do you think are necessary to become a successful fashion designer?

I think that the three main essential skills that you require include an eye for good fabric, patience to deal with different personalities and the persistence to keep going even when things are tough.

What are the qualifications for pursuing a fashion designer career?

I believe that the only requirements for pursuing a fashion designer profession include having a passion for the job and remaining resilient.

What software do you use to develop designs?

I mostly prefer Photoshop and Sketch Pro.

How do you stay up-to-date regarding fashion, trends, and designs?

Pinterest is my all-time favorite application/website for accessing information regarding fashion. Additionally, I enjoy watching fashion week events.

How would you describe your style?

I would describe my style as elegant, edgy and classic.

How would you relate past and present fashion trends?

Trends in fashion repeat themselves since designers tend to customize or improve on the traditional styles, particularly those of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s.

What is the biggest challenge that you have experienced since you joined the industry?

The biggest challenge affecting the fashion industry is the importation of second-hand clothes. Also, people always want quality outfits, but few are willing to spend on them.
