5-Minute Makeup Strategy for Your Next Zoom Meeting

5-Minute Makeup Strategy for Your Next Zoom Meeting

Having a makeup strategy is essential since everyone wants to look great, beautiful and vibrant in front of the camera, especially in this new normal of the digital ear. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Zoom, Google Meet, and FaceTime calls have become the bread and butter of many meetings, workplaces, classrooms, and families. Although, these video conferences are convenient replacements for face-to-face contact, it is still important to still look polished, vibrant, and professional. Therefore, before you join your next call, take a few minutes to apply your makeup thoughtfully for your next Zoom meeting. As such, below, we have outlined a 5-minute makeup strategy for your next Zoom meeting.

Apply a Good Moisturizer

Skincare is a must when you are starting out any look. Note that after cleansing your face, you should apply a hydrating moisturizer since it adds luster to the skin. Indeed, moisturizing your face will help you look and feel younger thus reducing the chance of developing extreme dryness or oiliness. Moreover, the moisturizer ensures that some of the skin’s blemishes are not visible.

Grab Some Eye drops

The camera picks up red and pink tones that make you look more tired. Therefore, a set of brightening eye drops constricts the veins on the surface level of your eyes thus keeping them look super white.

Swipe on Mascara

Additionally, before you go in front of the camera, ensure that you can curl your lashes and apply a black mascara. Mascara adds definition to your eyes, and in terms of pixilation, it will make them appear brighter on camera.

Go Bright with Blush

Although Google Meet and Zoom calls are high definition, the applications sometimes make you look washed out. To avoid this nightmare, apply blush that is more vibrant than what you would normally wear. Also, ensure that your face pops and your cheeks appear warmer as it will make you look like you have more life. To apply blush, swipe a pointed blush brush in an oval-shaped motion across your cheeks and back toward the outside of your face.

Add Concealer

Concealer is the most important and the inescapable. Therefore, quickly put concealer under your eyes, on the bridge of the nose, and on the inner corners of your eyes. Moreover, add a concealer on the area above the jawline to brighten and sculpt and give your jaw a definition.
